Who This Program is For and What You Will Learn:
Led by our team of experienced facilitators, this program is design for youth who want to increase their competitive edge in a tough labour market and secure their first real job. This program covers the following:
- Job Ready focuses on real-world employability skills, not just paperwork. Students learn how to communicate, behave professionally, and explain their experience clearly.
- Students will practice interview skills (virtual, live and telephone) as well as group interview skills
- Teens will build confidence in presenting themselves professionally and to adults
- Customer Service Skills, including Conflict Resolution and De-Escalation Training to keep them safe
This program will prepare them to be “Job Ready”

A Typical Day in Career Start Essentials:
Career Start Essentials consists of instructor-led sessions with small group sizes, clear daily schedules and goals, and a focus on respectful learning.
