What is Flashpoint Ignite?
Flash Point Ignite offers programs designed for teens who want more than a typical camp experience.
Our programs are designed to facilitate the transition from student to professional. Our programs combine hands-on activities, mentorship, and real-world skills in a structured, supportive environment.
Ignite is built by the same team behind Flash Point Training — an Ontario-based organization trusted by schools to deliver in-school SHSM programming. We work with over 40 School boards across Ontario. Now we are bringing those programs to Ontario families and students to help foster stronger career outcomes and fast-track employability.

Featured March Program: Career Start Essentials
Get Ready. Get Trained. Get Hired.
Career Start Essentials is a fast-paced, bootcamp-style program designed to get teens job-ready and hire-ready. In one focused week, students build the real skills employers look for—professional communication, customer service, confidence, and workplace readiness—so they can stand out in today’s competitive hiring environment.
This program is hands-on and practical. Students learn how to fill out job applications, write a strong resume, build a LinkedIn profile, and create a simple portfolio that highlights their strengths and experience. We also train students in interview skills, including how to answer common questions, talk about themselves professionally, and make a great first impression.
Career Start Essentials helps teens translate real-life experiences—like babysitting, volunteering, sports, hobbies, and responsibilities—into resume-worthy skills that make sense to employers.
By the end of the week, each student completes a professional Job Readiness Presentation, showcasing their skills, experience, and readiness to step into their first job with confidence.
